Can I be real with you all right now? I don’t love live video. And I am starting to believe that that is okay. That I don’t have to utilize it. I see so many coaches/guru’s or whatever the F say that “If you aren’t on live, then you are behind.” So, I’m going to give you a break for a sec – if live video is not your thing, you don’t need to jump on the bandwagon.

While I think that live video can be beneficial, I don’t think it’s a necessity. Some of my favorite people to follow only do YouTube or don’t do any video at all. I still connect with them through their writing, and there are definitely some YouTube. I’m sure you have those people too. Do. What. Works. For. You!

-K- Tangent over. About my YouTube channel-

Starting a YouTube channel has been on the to-do list for a while. I wanted to master my Facebook and Instagram first before diving into a new platform. With planning my travels + finally finding a simple Smartphone Video Kit to use, I’m finally ready to launch this bad boy.

Let’s talk about this video kit for a second because I think it can help a lot of bloggers out there who feel overwhelmed by the idea of creating a YouTube channel. People say you need professional lighting, microphone, and video camera. That’s a lot of equipment, money & time invested. Not into it.

So, the SmartCine is unlike anything that you’ve seen before – because it’s the first of it’s kind.

It includes:

  • Wide Angle Lens
  • Fisheye Lens
  • Professional Mic (it’s one of the best features, IMO)
  • Triple Strength Ring Light

It will be live on Kickstarter on 9/20, and if you click here, you will get exclusive early bird discounts! Even if you’re just toying with the idea of getting the setup for yourself, it’s worth keeping tabs on. Like I said – there’s nothing else like it.

So, anyway here’s the first video of many!

What kind of videos do you want to see on my new channel?
