I see it all the time. “You should love yourself just the way you are.” Love the rolls, the cellulite, the acne, the stretch marks, and just love it all!”
But can we be real for a sec? How many of us *truly* adore our flaws. It’s hard, you know?
As an influencer, I feel this pressure to not only be perfect but also promote that being imperfect is okay – and I think a lot of women can relate. There’s this new self-love trend, which is great and all but sometimes, I just really don’t love my cellulite!
Even though I’ve never been overweight, I’ve always had cellulite. There have been times that I looked in the mirror, crying because of the appearance of my legs and butt. No matter how “fit” I got, the cellulite wouldn’t budge. This has always been a part of me that I struggle to deal with, and have always had negative, self-conscious feelings towards.
I partnered up with CelluliTX to be one of the first people to try their product. I’ve done the research, they’re legit. I’ve only applied it for a few days, but I’m already starting to see a difference.
I’m not sure if you’re as familiar with cellulite removal procedures as I am, but most are expensive. Like, thousands of dollars expensive. There are very limited options if you’re wanting to get rid of it. There’s absolutely nothing like CelluliTX on the market – the use eleven key ingredients in that synergistically combine to target the appearance of cellulite.
I do want to say that despite not being the biggest fan of my cellulite, I don’t let it hold me back. It doesn’t get to me the way it used to. But damn, it does feel good to see it starting to disappear.
Think about it, we dye our hair, we wear makeup, we buy cute clothes and we get our nails done. It’s human nature to want to look and feel our best! There’s nothing wrong with you for disliking one of your flaws, despite what everyone on social media is saying.
Sometimes doing something as small as using cellulite removal gel is all a girl needs to get a spark of confidence!
At the end of the day, you just have to ask yourself, “Do I desire this because of me, or because I think that’s what people want from me?” and then take the approach with self-love.
If you want to lose weight, do it because you know it’ll make you feel strong and unstoppable. If you want to dye your hair a crazy color, do it because you know that it will make you feel like a badass. If you want to buy some amazing cellulite cream to make you feel like you’re wearing sexy lingerie then do it.
In my opinion, as long as you’re using these tools to fuel your self-love and confidence, then you’re making progress.
