Breast cancer. I think that it may be an understatement to say that it is a devastating disease. More than likely, you know someone who has gone through breast cancer or will know someone in your lifetime. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I am partnering with the Pink Off Park event in Winter Park, Florida to help raise awareness of breast cancer.

Honoring My Grandma
As someone who has lost their grandmother (or grim, as I called her) to breast cancer, I think it is so important to raise awareness continuously. In my grandma’s case, her cancer started forming on the side of her right breast, and at first, she had no idea that was breast cancer. She didn’t think it would be near her armpit, and she thought it would hurt more. Once it had spread, she was too embarrassed to tell us until it was too late.
I hope that all of my friends in the central Florida area will come together and celebrate this incredible event with me, and honor all of those who have went through the terrifying battle of having breast cancer!
