90 Second Microwave Keto Biscuits
I have been searching the internet trying to find a decent keto biscuit recipe! One of my friends told me about 90-second keto bread, so I started experimenting! The original recipe was pretty good, but I wanted to see if I could tweak it just a bit to be even better and more versatile!
There are actually 2 versions of this that I use depending on what I’m craving:
- Garlic Biscuit
- Cinnamon Biscuit
What you’ll need for garlic biscuits:
- 1 TBSP melted butter
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 TBSP minced garlic
- 2 1/2 TBSP coconut flour (I use Viva Naturals Organic Non-GMO and Gluten-Free Coconut Flour)
- 1/4 TSP baking powder
- A dash of – salt, pepper, oregano (optional)
What you’ll need for cinnamon biscuits:
- 1 TBSP melted butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 TBSP water or almond milk
- 2 1/2 TBSP coconut flour (I use Viva Naturals Organic Non-GMO and Gluten-Free Coconut Flour)
- 1/4 TSP baking powder
- 1/2 TSP vanilla
- A dash of salt and cinnamon
Instructions for both:
- Heat 1 TBSP butter in a standard mug until it melts.
- Mix in the egg, and mix in either water, almond milk, or garlic (depending on which recipe you’re using)
- Add in the coconut flour, baking powder, vanilla, and seasonings
- Pat down dough as much as you can to get rid of any air bubbles
- Microwave for 90 seconds
And you’re done! Super easy to make, and pretty delicious for coming out of a microwave.
I love to make breakfast sandwiches with my garlic biscuit recipe! Simply cut your biscuit in half, butter each side, layer on some cheese, a couple strips of bacon, avocado and an egg!
The cinnamon recipe goes really well with nut butters or a cinnamon butter mixture! (I sometimes blend 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1 TSP of monk fruit, and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon to make a cream cheese type frosting!)
