Is it really almost fall? I feel like summer just came and went. Obviously, now is the perfect time to throw an outdoor party and celebrate all the beautiful weather that is to come. What’s not to love about some good drinks with friends, 70 or 80-degree weather, a lake view and a fresh breeze? Ah, perfection.
So full disclosure: I’m all about balance. I like to eat healthy during the day, and then enjoy a cocktail on the weekends. Specifically, an ice-cold fruity sangria. If I’m being honest, if it’s been a busy day, I’ll have a glass on a weeknight. Hey, I’m human. My go-to when I’m creating the perfect cocktail is Smirnoff vodka for a variety of reasons. Let’s chat about it.

Smirnoff vodka really brings me back, you guys. I mean, when I first turned 21, vodka was my go-to, specifically Smirnoff vodka. You have to love a high-quality vodka with a good price point. Even though you can buy a couple of bottles without feeling the money guilt, it is a premium vodka that is filtered 10x for seriously remarkable smoothness.
With such a smooth and refreshing flavor, it is so versatile for drinks. I mean, I’m going to tell you an awesome Lemon Raspberry Sangria recipe that includes this vodka! As if Sangria couldn’t be any better, we’re going to add some delicious Smirnoff vodka in it.
Another thing that I appreciate as someone with celiac disease is that Smirnoff vodka is gluten-free and has it right on their label. It makes life so easy when you can just grab the bottle, look and have closure. Googling “Does _____ contain gluten?” gets old, you know?
Okay, okay I’m almost done obsessing over Smirnoff. Clearly, I’m not the only one who loves the stuff, though. It’s the world’s #1 vodka, a double gold medal winner, and most awarded vodka brand of the last decade. It’s been known for its quality since 1864, which is just insanity.
So, let’s get to this amazing recipe, shall we? This sweet, refreshing tasting combo is perfect to take to BBQ’s, pool parties, or even just chillin’ on the lake. Personally, I’ll be having this at my next girl’s night. I cannot wait for my friends and I to sip on this, swapping stories, and just enjoy the night.

Ingredients
- 3 oranges
- 3 limes
- 2 lemons
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 cups ice
- 10 ounces frozen raspberries
- 1 cup Smirnoff No. 21 vodka
- 1/2 cup Limoncello
- 1 bottle of Prosecco, chilled
Instructions
- Juice 2 oranges, 2 limes and 1 lemon to measure approximately 1/2 cup of juice. Combine the citrus juices and the sugar in a saucepan and warm over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Cool.
- Thinly slice the remaining orange, lime and lemon.
- In a large pitcher, combine the ice, citrus slices, raspberries, vodka and Limoncello and stir.
- Top with Prosecco; stir gently and serve; garnish with fruit if desired.
So, the health nut in me sometimes likes to switch this up. If you’re looking to go a little crazy, but not too overboard, there are a few modifications you can make.
You could either remove the sugar from the ingredients list, or you can substitute it with honey or agave nectar. With all of the fruits, you are actually getting some vitamins and nutrients with your drinks. Not going to lie and tell you this is a healthy cocktail, but hey, you’re getting some fruit. Bonus points if you eat all the raspberries in your glass.
If you want to take your party to the next level, you’re going to need to get the Smirnoff Ice Party Pack. It is not a cocktail, but a premium malt beverage. Again, Smirnoff Ice is the leader when it comes to quality and flavor. (Are you even surprised?) There’s 18 flavors total, but you get to try 4 types of them in the party pack!
Sadly, I cannot enjoy them anymore, but I know that party guests love the different varieties. With all of the different flavor options, they are perfect for any season, party, or just because! Also convenient if you want a cocktail-like beverage without all the work.
Now, can I just talk about my excitement for fall yet? I mean, just picture it: A campfire, a group of your friends, a cooler of Smirnoff Ice, and a pitcher of Lemon Raspberry Sangria. Going to have to make this a reality.
