A little salty, a little crunchy, something fresh, and something delicious. This is my go-to snack plate when I want a balanced, satisfying meal without actually cooking one. It’s packed with a mix of protein, carbs, veggies, healthy fats, and a few fun extras, so it feels more like a real meal than a random pile of snacks. The best part is that you can use whatever you already have on hand, swap things based on your cravings, and throw the whole thing together in just a few minutes.
Small cheese slices(I love Aldi's Buffalo Wing Jack and Spinach Artichoke Gouda cheese)
Handful of mixed nuts(Aldi's Specially Selected Garlic & Herb Nut Blend is so good!)
Gluten-free crackers
Chips(I prefer kettle cooked Salt & Vinegar or Jalapeno. Use them like crackers!)
Mini cucumber slices
Pickled red onion
Sliced mini peppers(You could also stuff them with snack plate ingredients or cut them into small, cracker-sized slices)
A couple of dip options(I love spinach artichoke tzatziki, flavored hummus, or hot honey pepper dip)
Spreadable cheese wedge
Dried apricot
Green grapes
Instructions
Cut up your cheese slices and veggies
Add as much or as little as you want of everything
Arrange it so it looks pretty or slap it on the plate, doesn't matter!
Notes
This combination is usually a lot for me to eat in one sitting, but I like a lot of different flavor options. If you recreate this and have leftovers, you can take off the extra crackers, chips, and other pantry foods and cover it in saran wrap to snack on throughout the night. I probably wouldn't leave it in the fridge as-is more than a day or two.
A Few Snack Plate Favorites
These are a few easy additions I like for making snack plates a little more interesting.
You absolutely don't need anything fancy to make a snack plate, but tiny bowls and pretty cheese knives make eating random things from the fridge feel a tad more luxurious.Double Dip Bowls - Two dips, one bowl. For those who don't want their dips to mix together.Cute Bamboo Cheese Board - Basically your all-in-one dinner board. It comes with the snack board, 2 heart-shaped dip bowls, and 4 cheese knives.Snackle Boxes - Girl dinner, but make it portable. Fill the compartments with fruit, cheese, crackers, nuts, veggies, and something sweet.Bamboo Knot Skewers - Entirely optional, but adorable for olives, fruit, cheese cubes, and meats.
