I am a dental assistant by day, lifestyle blogger and wellness coach by night!
I’m currently in the process of designing my life, and teaching others how to do the same. My passion is empowering women to lead fulfilling lives in all areas – mentally, physically, and financially.
I had a rough childhood, and because of it have struggled with anxiety and depression most of my life. For a long time, I felt like I had no purpose. Each day just seemed endlessly pointless, and was just something I was powering to get through. There were many times I thought to myself, “What’s the point? I’m always miserable.”
When offered the opportunity to coach, I was intrigued. Let’s be real though, I did not have my shit together yet. I was unhealthy, tired, depressed, angry, impulsive, and passionless. How was I supposed to help people? My coach stuck by my side, recommended some good books, gave me encouragement, and slowly my life started to change.
I was working out and eating right, and suddenly I had more energy and less stress. (Not to mention some serious results!) Personal development became a regular part of my daily routine. Listening to something empowering every day gave me a new perspective on life. Instead of feeling like a victim to my circumstances, I could overcome all of this pain and teach others to do the same. I could use my adversities to my advantage!
But first, I had to get better. So I worked on myself enthusiastically and consistently.
I’m still growing. I’m still learning. But that’s okay! We are all on some sort of journey in this life. We’re either on the journey to becoming better, worse or the same. The small, daily actions and decisions will determine your route. It’s up to you to make the choice.
