Night time anxiety is something that’s always been a part of my life. The second I start thinking about needing to go to bed is when I start to worry about everything.

It’s really frustrating. Especially, when I am actually tired but can’t sleep due to all the crazy thoughts, to-dos and worries rolling around in my brain.

When I got the opportunity to try out the SoundSpa, I obviously couldn’t pass it up. I have been using it a few nights now, and I have to say, it’s pretty freaking amazing! Let me tell ya all about it.

The Sound Quality

My biggest concern before receiving this was obviously the sound quality. Would it actually sound like the different scenarios? Would they be too noisy that it’s distracting?

I don’t think there’s one option I didn’t love. At first, my boyfriend and I weren’t sure about the thunderstorm or light rain because it’s a little more intense than the ocean sound that we loved.

I’ve found that for my personal preference, there are some sounds that I just prefer to be louder than others. Once we turned the volume down on those, it was perfect! It’s so fun to experiment with the different sounds before bed. Never gets boring.

The Features

Compared to other similar products, the features on this one make it stand out. Homedics was named the official sound-conditioning partner of the National Sleep Foundation, which is huge. Obviously, they know what they’re talking about.

First of all, I loved that it was something you can charge rather than constantly replacing batteries. They send you the charger to use with it, so you don’t have to worry about it shutting off randomly.

I also appreciated the different timer settings. You can set it for 15, 30 or 60 minutes depending on your preference. The first night we selected 60 minutes, but lately, we have just been letting it run all night.

As mentioned before, it’s also nice that you can adjust the volume. I love all the sounds it comes with but some I prefer louder than others. This makes it so easy to tailor to your preferences.

And of course, all of the different sound options! There are TWELVE to choose from. Seriously, incredible. We have so much fun picking the sound for the night!

Would I Recommend This?

If you can’t tell already, YES!! If you struggle to fall asleep at night, get this right away. I’m serious. It will change your world! Having a scenic sound to listen to gives my brain something to pay attention to other than the stress I have. It’s a serious game changer.
