Day One: 2018 Habit Forming Challenge

I’m not crazy about New Year’s resolutions. Think about the last time you achieved them. When was that? Never? Kind of what I figured.

This is why I’ve created a free, habit forming challenge for 2018. I want to create positive habits in the new year, not just make random resolutions that I won’t follow.

Are you with me?

Day 1 task:

Grab your journal, and write down all the big things you want to accomplish in the new year. Make sure they are specific and you truly believe that they can happen if you work hard.

After each and every goal you have, write down as much as you can about why that goal is extremely important to you. Get so deep to the root of your “why” that it makes you emotional to think about it!

For example,
“I want to lose __lbs this year.”

So that:
– I can wake up every day and actually have enough energy to enjoy the day
– I can feel confident in my own skin
– So I can show my children what a healthy body & mindset looks like
– I can be the best version of myself

Write down as much as you possibly can, and get so emotionally invested in your goals that you can’t help but wake up with excitement to tackle them!

The more you can connect with your why, the easier it will be to do the things you don’t want to do (habits) because you’ll want to achieve what you’ve set out to so badly!
